Description

Cocoa beans are the dried and fully
fermented seeds of the cacao tree
(Theobroma cacao), valued as the primary
raw material for producing chocolate, cocoa
powder, cocoa butter, and other cocoa-based
products. Known for their rich aroma and
naturally bitter taste, Indonesian cocoa beans
are appreciated for their balanced flavor and
consistent quality.
Each batch undergoes a controlled
fermentation process to enhance flavor and
reduce acidity, followed by careful sun-drying
to maintain ideal moisture levels for export
storage. The beans are graded and evaluated
based on moisture content, purity, and
percentage of defective beans, ensuring
stable quality and suitability for chocolate,
confectionery, and beverage manufacturing.
